What is this blog really about?

The word church can bring mix emotions to every individual’s ear. Scripture refers to the church as both the body and bride of Jesus Christ. Simply put it is supposed to be Christ alive in our midst. Somehow over time the church has evolved onto an organization that is both misunderstood and a venue for division. Here we will attempt to take an honest open look inside the church to let the reader decide. Our intent is not to devalue, degrade, or disgrace but to move to an honest and deeper understanding of this thing known as the church.
The Masked preacher will give an honest behind the scenes account of what the life of a minster is really like and the truth of what goes on in the church when the lights go out.  The masked preacher must keep his anonymity because he is currently serving in a local congregation. Since the intent is to not embarrass anyone or any one situation all names and locations will be changed to protect both the innocent and guilt. This blog will address any issue, topic, both current and ancient, to the best of his ability to allow the reader to understand what actually ministry and serving Christ’s body is all about.
As you read please keep an open mind and allow the Holy Spirit to speak directly to your heart. Some issues may be controversial, sensitive, and confusing. For some other issues it may be humorous, light hearted, and fun. Feel free to submit suggestions, issues, or topics you would like the Masked Preacher to respond to.
